My Dearest Katsuno from Genji

How are you. Cold wheather [weather] make me think home, you, sons, Restaurant. Cold dining, woods for home. Here is about 5 inches snow but little warmer, [illegible] cold in bed but many Doctors good care. I received your nice hearty Christmas card last night. It took long time for censors. I nailed on wall like a frame. The "TO MY HUSBAND AT CHRISTMAS."

Served rice, cook fish, [illegible] shoyu. To-day noon Arima, Shiraishi, Okiyama, Sunohara & ? Mayeno received Xmas card from Rev. Kodaira, they tell me to tell THANKS to church. I think you better bring home [Japanese character] and AJI from rest. Maybe no more at all long while, please take care business and boy's special George's study university. I worry.
