Happy New Year Dear: --
This is nice sunshine morning here. We listening Radio news. We bought $26.50 one just like restaurant type. We had new year special service short time at Dining Room all of us 633 and eat corn flakes, milk, coffee, toast, coffee, ham omelette [omelet]. We watch night 12:30 went bed last night. Get up 7:30 morning. We plan tonight after supper some program entertain. All member of my camp #24 they call me Butaicho, next #25's Mr. Takeoka, #26's Mr. Akiyama, South Park, Uno, Hashimoto, Kajihara, Fife, Yoshioka. Very good workers in my Dormitory #24.
I can not write many things as you know. Anyway I wish write you something. Please write me soon and several times a week. Will you sent me N. American Times last 6 days if you can. I sent holiday greeting to Rev. N. Kodaira Japanese Presby. Church cor. 9 -- Weller St. today by wire Western Union.
I hearty thanks for carefull [careful] choir articles, special 2 safety razor and sharpener, 2 nail cutter, cold tablet, Vaceline [Vaseline] lotion, toothpicks, many warm cloths [clothes]. I wear every day & night around neck the soft lovely velvet scarf feeling just like with you.
Today all cloths [clothes] furnished from Government hat, cap, coat, pants, shirt, etc. Same color [illegible]. I have best secretary Mr. Hara my camp Dormitory #24.
Now the time got go to meeting. So goodbye. Write again. Mail time too.

Yesterday no mail man. So another page addition. Nothing change in our simple life but New Year Day. Every one went other Dormitory each others to greeting. I heard someone got N. American Times bunch of 6 day week. Will you send me too.
Last night 7-10 new year program, joint 24, 25, 26, 27. I adress [address] open and song Hymn 413 and several number incloud [include] new Missoula ondo.
We listening radio KIRO Seattle but can't hear other station now (not enough power). To-day old man Okuda's birthday 1/2. 75 years old.
