Dear my Katsuno:

How are you? Am well and very busy at my office. Mr. Tahara's best friend Mr. Butsuen visited a week and left yesterday. I respects his highly friendship. We received tel. from Mr. Matsuda "baby girl born on 20" & named Emi. Grand Pa smiled with joy. Congratulation to Yoichi & Fumi.

During the day we can get along with only one shirt on. I saw a small whirlwind taking sand up in the sky. I had not seen it for some time. It occurs when it gets warm. I don't know why it is getting suddenly warm, you see, this is our 1st winter here. The grass has not yet become green. The greens have disappeared on the little vegetable gardens we have here. They look forlorn. But the trees are showing signs of budding. It may get cold once more but I am sure the spring is not far away. I hope you are to prepare for reunite me at new family center soon!

Love

Your husband Genji
