Dear Katsuno:

Windy today but good climate here. I received your 4th letter last night. Am glad that you are well in spite of cold as had snow there. I am perfect of health and enjoying service in the office with jesting staff of mine. Did you get my your flower vase? without harm. Many can't send because over weight 10 lb.

We have no rocks here but lots of the bushes. The main roots are good for craft work. I diged [dug] out some the stumps too, and cutting like the craft man after the bark off. I plan to send you for Xmas gift I think I can make some pencil holder with it at least. Give my best regards to Mrs. Ito, Sunohara, Yeikichi & Mrs. Gosho, Nojima. I learned Mr. Suihei Tatsu went east last week. Best care yourself for my sake.

With Love Your Genji
