My Dear Katsuno:-

The lucky Friday! I received three of your letters which you wrote two on Nov. 1st, enclosed air stamps, and the church weekly with my greatly pleasure. Glad you are well and met them to hear many things, and you set easy mind about me. I am grand as weight 150 now. Yes, I had my hair cut every month and pay ten cents coupon. Sorry Mr. Sawada isn't so strong. Do you work on Sunday morning and get up 5:30? I got the letter but took long time. You see why I don't write in Japanese. Both of them are fine now. I heard Mrs. Hirashima is much better health in California.

Delighted to know about Arthur who you say "will be well matched couple with Miss Fumiko." Roy has good friends, who is Mr. Morita?

I sympathize with Mrs. Karikomi in the lose of her husband, also sorry lost old Mrs. Fujita who I might know at the Chamber of Commerce about their old age pension. We had our picnic here on Nov. 3, it was the first time that

we enjoyed ourselves very much at learge [large] the Camp. There were such races as spoon race, three legged race, cigarette rolling race, wash tub beating race, etc. etc. We had a fancy procession too and our camp pets, a crow and a hare, followed it in a cart. The wrestling match was exciting and make me thinking Roy's match at Puyallup. We were very glad to see it. Our camp band enlivened the picnic.

Your Genji
