My Dear Katsu:-

Received your 22nd letter and 26th card on 31st, both stamped of 26th. Also the Seattle 1st Church sent me 4 of Oct. weekly. Very glad you are well now. I am healthy. I wonder why you received such paper for apply of repatriation to Japan? Some time ago I was very busy at my Mayor's office for many people have applied for their repatriation, but not I at all. As you know you I permanent living this country with our three boys who is born in U.S.A. Our George wrote me last week from Robinson "THE ARMY LIFE IS SWELL." No doubt, this is our country. Why we should leave to. NO! We have no intention to leave. You will sure sign the paper for declaration of declination as soon as you could and send back it return.

I have finished The Acts to-day. You say have living fish there, fine. We have good bridged pond and water, but no fish in it, sorry.

Have you met Mr. Tadashi?

I heard from a English teacher that Mrs. Itoi been sick in the hospital and Mrs. Sunohara got same letter too. We had a splendid Sunday, no wind, the weather was very mild. Sunday service held at nine in the morning as usual. Enjoyed a game of baseball after-noon, it ended in a draw. I will send you the flower vase which told last month. It is fine weather now. Give my regards to boys, Mr. Mrs. Itoi, Kawakami, Seiji couple and Mr. Sawada, others.

Yours Genji
