My Dearest Katsu,

How are you? This is your birthday of three and half over the year so called life beginning. I pray for many, many returns to you the sexagenary [sexagenarian] cycle of your conscious life for my sake. Deary! believe me I receive a stream of your heart's wave while I meditate at [illegible] others, now on, could hear whispering as my soul intercourse you, as like the tides of the sea are due to the attraction of the moon.

We have no Kodak at all but a portrait painter Hawaii man, one of the barrack captain to portray of my face as open shirt no tie and plain on Aug 6th. Enclosed in to meet you be merry.

You could guess the camp men only, so many self big shots, not altogether to the liking of my self. There is so many opinion they have. Sometime make me dizzy to unify their difficult difference but I must to get into a good shape, but they think themselves still something. How hard to rule over them, the temptation are strong to me but I resisted it and determined to struggle on with my belief for poor unfortunate internees.

Last Sunday service the Rev. K. preach with I at chair [censored]. Best care yourself. Received Roy's letter now, learned sumo, you knitting the cover.

With love.

Sincerely Yours Genji
