My Dearest Katsu,

How are you. I received two letters Aug 1st, Roy and Mrs. Matsuda. Delighted to know you are well, keep jolly. Unless you keep up a strong heart you will fall ill.

I am very well as I had a slightly fever after the third typhoid injection but not over a night. Nobody has the fever-hay at all here. The colours [colors] of cloud here Lordsburg plateau in the morning is great. Get up 6 a.m. shave every morning to smooth with the honeymoon razor valet which you sent me. I recall your sincerity and struck me to my heart's core always present to my soul.

Thanks you sent box to George. I will send a postcard to greet of his nineteenth birthday Aug. 12th. [censored] of them plan to go back Japan. No one would assert point of view how or when this crisis will be settled. Just I pray for the restoration of peace. Last Sunday [censored] preached with I in the chair again and held memorial service.
