My Dearest Katsu,

How are you under intense heat? Am well but yearning after North, thinking of you in severe summer. Sunday today, the Mt. Rainier where we climbed? by car with you last summer. Again open my pocketbook and take out the family picture of picnic which you sent me I stared fixedly and gazed at you made affection to you. Please best care yourself!

How is Art. I think he behaves himself according to his whim. Am obliged to hold myself responsible for it. I am sorry to obliged you so much trouble. I beg you please look after on his account as my proxy.

No interpreter here, so take long time to censor our letters. Sure I expect yours soon. [censored] as you know we leaders at our old residential group are aged as the majority belong to the sexagenarians who interned for just "Japan Subject" as civilian internees. We have number of sick and infirm who need medical attention [censored]. Frequent dust storm from desert would swing across the barracks and the camp areas to our great suffering.

With Love

Sincerely Yours Genji
