My Dearest Katsu:

How are you? I don't heard you too long since June 22nd you wrote me to Missoula, make me anxious about you as sickness or... but am standing with my prayer and lucky you appeared to my arm in dream early this morning and encouraged me by your cheerfully face and manner, not even an hour passes without my thinking of you dearly Venus!

I am well but no taste alone, whatever just sultry heat on greenless the desert, no colour [color] of pretty flowers nor charming voice of the singing birds like Missoula.

We brought much rough rocks here but no one start polish them yet because too hot and feel lazy.

Did you get my poems which composed at Missoula and sent you in last day of Montana. I use always my spectacles to read or to write letter now. All friends well but old man late comer kind weak. The news man late riser in morning is very well now as once he was kind nervous. I am very much obliged to you for hardship to look after the big boys. How is Art? He should work somehow. It is good for him to be used to hard physical labour [labor] in his youth days. Please best care yourself. Remember me to Mrs. Hirashima, Arima. Give my best regards to dear Roy, wish he write me too.

With Love

Sincerely Yours Genji
