This is to identify Ruby Ayako Inouye, female, age 23, a person of Japanese ancestry, who is authorized to depart from Hunt, Idaho, for the purpose of enrolling at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas. She is authorized to travel by common carrier from Hunt, Idaho to Austin. This travel should be completed on or before February 15, 1943 and is subject to the regulations of the Western Defense Command and the War Relocation Authority.

Upon completion of this trip the original of this certificate should be returned to the Leave Section, Minidoka War Relocation Project, Hunt, Idaho, with the signature of the registrar of the school.
