Caption on reverse [translation]: "Dr. Einstein Explains the Principles of Relativity to an American Audience. (Pittsburgh) Rengo. The practical scientist Dr. Albert Einstein, who is living comfortably in the US after being driven from his homeland for being a Jew and forced to wander, gave a lecture on his theory of relativity before several hundred distinguished scientists at Pittsburgh's Carnegie Institute of Technology. Even though there was a 10 dollar per person entry fee, this lecture hall was filled to capacity with a passionate audience to hear the doctor present his unique, deep research in an event rare even for America. The lecture was extremely well received. Photographs: Dr. Einstein explaining the the theory of relativity at a chalkboard and a relieved doctor after he had finished his lecture.
