Nisei female. Born July 8, 1928, in Boyle Heights, California. At an early age, went to live with family friends when father passed away and mother contracted tuburculosis. During World War II, removed to the Santa Anita Assembly Center, California, and the Granada (Amache) concentration camp, Colorado. While in camp, mother relapsed and Toshiko again went to live with the same family friends. After the war, returned to California.
