Caption by Homer Yasui: "Ray [Ches] Tsuyoshi Yasui and Mikie Kageyama's wedding picture the wedding was held in the living room of Ernest Chandler and Alice Smith's home There's a funny story that goes along with this August 13th wedding. Because the Bartlett pear harvest was about to start at any day at Willow Flat [farm] that year, Ches prevailed upon his brand new bride to go only as far as the Multnomah Falls Lodge for their 'honeymoon'--42 miles away! And sure enough, the very next morning they headed back to harvest the pears. That was real dedication...of some sort."
