Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America
In the 1920s and 1930s, Nisei (second-generation) boys joined Boy Scout troops organized by public schools or community churches. Promoting "Americanism," government administrators condoned Boy Scout activities in the World War II concentration camps.
