Fujikawa was imprisoned at the Santa Anita Racetrack and the concentration camp in Jerome, Arkansas. After leaving camp, she worked as a beautician in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during WWII and purchased her own beauty shop when she resettled in California. Fujikawa raised four sons in Gardena, California.\r\n\r\nThis interview is part of the South Bay History Project created by the South Bay Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League.",
