            "description": "A letter from Yosokichi Fujii, a former incarceree in the Heart Mountain incarceration camp, Wyoming, to Seiichi and Tomeyo Okine. He gives an update of his life after leaving the camp in September 1945 and resettling in Nyssa, Oregon until May 1946. He currently works in Penryn, California in fruit production following his friends' suggestion. He intended to go back to Oregon, but has stayed in California. Fujii's first son and fourth son, Katsumi, in Oregon will join him in California in August or September. They plan to start a new business together. He states that he is not going back to Japan in the future and has decided to stay in the U.S. The backside of the envelope includes the handwritten notes in Japanese.
