On the left side of the postcard is a purple stamp that reads “Censored/Camp Livingston/Internment Camp/HARMON M. TURNER.” On the back side of the postcard, which is dated August 29, 1942, is a message written to Kei about the departure of friends from the Portland Assembly Center to Wyoming. She tells him about crying goodbye, their daughter Miriam Kiyo crying, and her wish that he could join them in Idaho.",
