The float is that of a large Paddle Steamer made of pink and red flowers.  The paddle wheel reads \"Pacific Power\" on the side.  A man and woman sit on the front of the float and wave to the crowd, the woman hold a red ribbon.  The front of the float has a small yellow sign with number 6 on it.  On the side reads \"Sunday Excursion.\"  The Portland Rose Festival Parade is an annual event in which floats are made out of flowers and paraded down the streets of Portland.
