    "bioghist": "Yuhachi Miyagi was born on September 16, 1891, in Okinawa-Ken, Japan.  He immigrated to the United States in 1910.  Yuhachi settled in Imperial County, California, and ran a vegetable farm with his wife Sonoko (Nakamura) Miyagi.  Sonoko was born February 21, 1905, in Okinawa-Ken, Japan, she immigrated to the United States in 1921.  Together the couple had 7 children.   On February 19, 1942, Yuhachi was arrested by the FBI and detained at Fort Lincoln in Bismarck, North Dakota.  Sonoko and the children were detained at Poston Relocation Center in Parker, Arizona, from May 1942 until October 1945.  The family was reunited at Poston in August 1942.  In 1944 their eldest son, William joined the 100th Battalion and served in the European Theater.  Yuhachi passed away in 1969.  Sonoko passed away in 1973.",
