This photo of general merchandise store which was opened and operated by Mr. Wakichi Kawamoto in Florin, California some time in early 1900. This establishment was later sold to Mr. Wada after Mr. Kawamoto passed away in June 1910. Few years later, this store was taken over by Tamazo Tanikawa along with adjacent building belonging to H. Kato. During his ownership, this store was destroyed by fire. Mr. Tanikawa rebuilt and operated until the evacuation in 1942.
