He informs of the arrival of the package of gifts from Seiichi and lists the items shared among the Sasakis, the Nakanos, Tsukiyo Okasako, and the Yamanakas. The items include: sugar, towels, cloth, sewing threads, safety pins, sewing needles, underwear, and a sweater. He informs that everyone appreciates the Okines for their help. The arrival date of the letter, March 18, 1948, is recorded on the backside of the envelope.
