In the letter, she expresses her desire to immigrate to the U.S. The letter is resealed with the tape, \"OPENED BY MIL. CEN. CIVIL MAILS,\" and stamped with \"C.C.D. J-2903\" by the Civil Censorship Detachment. The arrival date of the letter, June 28, 1948, is recorded on the backside of the envelope.
