Elmer Tazuma

Issei male. Born March 30, 1916, in Kure, Japan. Immigrated with parents to Seattle as a child, where parents ran several hotels and apartment buildings in the International District, as well as the Tazuma Ten Cent store. In his interview, discusses Japanese American hotel ownership from the early to mid-1900s and the role of the hotel association in the Japanese American community.
