White male. Born July 2, 1924, in San Francisco, California. Grew up in San Francisco before being inducted into the military following the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Assigned to service as a military policeman at the Manzanar concentration camp, California before serving overseas in Europe. After military service, returned to San Francisco.
