DESCRIPTION
Photocopy of a declassified handwritten letter from Eva Koyama, daughter of Teru and Keizaburo Koyama, to Edward J. Ennis, Director, Enemy Alien Control Unit. She adds that both of her parents came to the United States in High School and went on to college. They worked hard to Americanize and raised their children to think of themselves as Americans, not Japanese Americans. She feels that her father is a great man who has worked hard to become an American and that she is having trouble understanding why he is being interned. Eva adds that her mother's health is bad and that she is unable to continue taking care of the family.
