Kenjiro and Miyuki “Kay” Kida Family Collection

Blue and white handmade quilt pieced together by Miyuki "Kay" Kida living in Nyssa, Oregon (1942-1945), and finished by Kathy Portner Wilkes in 1968 when she was expecting her first child. Has hand embroidered images of puppies and kittens in the center of each panel, as well as the words "sweet dreams" and "good night."
