DESCRIPTION

Black and white photographic print of a nature scene taken on the journey back to Tokyo from a daytrip to the Atami Hotel. Photo includes blossoming tree and partial ocean view. Atami is a resort for R&R south of Yokohama and was commandeered by US military during the occupation. Inscribed on the back: " 4-12 '47/SCENE ON THE WAY HOME FROM/ATAMI."
