Shiuko Sakai Collection

Black and white photographic print of unidentified individuals standing outside at Yoko Takahashi’s wedding. Two women dressed in dark colored kimono's flag the bride dressed in a light kimono with a large print and white vail, all stand with their backs to the camera. Shiuko Sakai, the donor, met Yoko around 1947-1948 when Donor was billeted at an all-female hotel and Yoko was working there as a floor guard.
