Nippu Jiji Photograph Archive, "Japanese American" Collection

Translation of article: "Ms. Asuka of Japanese dancing returned via the Ryu-ta-maru ship. Ms. Asuka, who lives on Hall Street 1237 in Honolulu, is a professor of Japanese dance as well as sewing. She was visiting Japan for a year to improve her skills. She returned to Hawaii yesterday, the 26th, on the Ryu-ta-maru. Today, the 27th, she visited the Nippu Jiji to meet Mr. Fujimoto Kenkichi. Ms. Asuka intends to resume teaching Japanese dance and sewing."
