Caption on reverse [translation]: "Two new records for Japanese glider. Pilot Isamu Oda
(Osaka) February 7, 1939. He set a record for flight duration and flight altitude. Isamu Oda flew for 9 hours and 3 minutes at an altitude of 2,600 meters. The gilder was catapulted by a device made from rubber on February 6, 1939. The two records were established on February 7th by Isamu Oda, who works at a light aircraft factory located in Osaka city."
