Caption on reverse [translation]: "Athlete Murakoso, who runs alone, is getting married. The bride is Yasuko Kamibayashi. (Kobe) December 20, 1939. The world famous long distance runner Murakoso is getting married. He did his best living by himself, believing "a life is also run alone," until he was 25 years old, but he found a new relationship. The athlete Togami, who competes in the triple jump, acted as go-between. They have already exchanged engagement gifts, and they will be married on a good day in February of next spring. The bride is the second daughter of Dr. Ryuichi Kamibayashi, Yasuko, who lives in Ise, Matsushiro, Nagano. She graduated from Nagano Women's College and is very smart. Her hobby is playing tennis. When we visited Mr. Murakoso at his work at the aircraft company Kawasaki his heart remained strong for the sport, but he was very shy at the time.
