Caption on reverse: "FROM: HAWAII CHAPTER AMERICAN RED CROSS February 26, 1953. OFF TO A GOOD START in the Red Cross Fund Drive which officially opens March 1 is Emmet G. Solomon, who heads the important Advance Gifts committee. Mr. Solomon is confident that his volunteer aides will be able to report substantial advance contributions from both business firms and individuals before the drive for $262,000 is formally launched. Solicitations will continue throughout the entire month of March."
