Caption on reverse [translation]: "'Farewell' to the Miracle Saint with Golden Thoughts in Our Hearts. (Yokohama) August 11, 1937. Helen Keller, the saint of three burdens, departed from Kobe aboard the Yusen Chichibu Maru on the 10th to return to America with her secretary Ms. Thomson. The ship entered Yokohama port at 12 a.m. on the 11th, and she finally left dear Japan on the 12th. Photograph: 1. Ms. Keller (left) and Ms. Thomson (right)."
