Caption on reverse [translation]: "Circumnavigating Plane Arrives in Paris. (Paris) Domei. Hughes' plane departed from New York's Floyd Bennett Field at 6:20 p.m. on the 10th and headed towards Paris, aiming to set a new record for aerial circumnavigation of the world. He crossed the Atlantic in one go, landing easily at Le Bourget Airport in the outskirts of Paris at 4:58 p.m. on the 11th (Paris time) and then immediately headed for Moscow. Photograph: Mr. Hughes and his beloved plane. [Stamped] July 11, 1938."
