Caption on reverse: "President Roosevelt flies 16,965 miles. The first American President to fly while holding office, Franklin D. Roosevelt is seen in a happy mood aboard a Clipper crossing the Atlantic. With him is Captain Otis Bryan of the Air Transport Command, who flew the President into the combat zone in North Africa on the first part of the 16,965-mile journey to Casablanca and back."
