Commission on Wartime Relocation and Internment of Civilians Collection

Notes from two Cabinet meetings taken by Francis Biddle. The first one describes the reactions to the possible cancellations of the exclusion orders -- most members agreed with relocation only after elections. Also discussed postponing the publicity of photos showing Japanese killing American soldiers for fear of reprisal. The second note states that the Supreme Court would probably rule against the government in the Japanese test cases.
