DESCRIPTION
Caption: "One of the survivors of a plane shot down over Tokyo during Gen Doolittle's / bombing of Tokyo. Early in the war when our morale was low a plan was / devised to modify some bombers so they could take off from aircraft carriers. / However, they could not land on the carriers so after bombing Tokyo they were / to fly on to China. Needless to say, our morale shot up and the Japanese were / demoralized to realize that could be bombed."
