Caption in album: "On the Auto Bahn [sic] taking '10' a breather. A machine gun mount can be seen in the open weapon carrier used in cases of a strafing where German planes attack from above. In caravans are jeeps, 4x4, 4x6, 6x6, command car, [?], half tracks. In a battalion we had about 600 men about 15 carriers."
