Original summary excerpts: Reports of testimony on the Tule Lake disturbance to the Dies subcommittee continued to be the greatest source of interest this week. Director Myer, it was found, admitted that "many mistakes" have been made in managing the relocation centers, but protested the "generalized" attacks on WRA and challenged the "reliability" and "objectivity" of persons who had testified regarding mismanagement, waste, unpunished thefts, and vague policy. He denied that he had "given in" to the evacuees and found it a "disservice to the Naion" to focus attention on the trivial problems of WRA.
