Original summary excerpts: News clippings on Tule Lake showed a decided reduction from the comparatively high peak of the preceding two weeks. New developments were limited largely to the demands of various civil and congressional leaders for permanent Army control of Tule Lake and possibly all relocation centers. Army statements that "no signs of resistance or unrest have occurred since occupation of the camp by armed troops" implied the reinstatement of WRA control in the near future.
