A letter from Ayame Okine in Chicago, Illinois, to her parents-in-law, Seiichi and Tomeyo Okine, in Hawthorne, California. Ayame Okine encloses a check for the marriage of her sister-in-law, Hatsuno Hotty Okine. Ayame also writes about her moving plan, informing that her sister has bought a house and Ayame is going to move into the house with her sister. The handwritten notes on the back of the envelope read: Arrived on January 14, 1946, 25.00 dollars check included, replied on January 16 [in Japanese].
