During the war, removed to the Fresno Assembly Center, California, and the Jerome concentration camp, Arkansas. When Jerome closed, transferred to the Granada (Amache) concentration camp, Colorado. After the war, returned to Sacramento, starting a floral business and teaching ikebana, Japanese flower arranging.",
