    "description": "Envelope addressed to Dr. Keizaburo Koyama at Camp Livingston from his daughter, Miriam Kiyo Koyama, at Minidoka. In place of postage “Internee of War/Free Mail” is written in the upper right hand corner. Postmarked Apr. 18, 1943. In the upper center of the envelope “4/30-43” is written in red pencil. Along the left edge of the envelope is discolored tape, with the number 253 fading in the center. On the back a purple \"Received\" stamp is dated Apr 30, 1943. Inside the envelope is a letter dated April 17, 1943. Miriam writes about turning 10 soon and her weight and complexion. She describes the warmer weather and hopes that things are well with her father. There is a postscript asking for a letter back.",
