The side of float has purple, white and red flowers and reads \"Pacific Telephone.\"  On the float five women are visible.  Two sit in the back and wave at the crowd in pink dresses.  Another is laying on a couch made of white flowers acts as if she on the phone.  The another woman is seated in the front with her back to the camera, it appears that she is dress in a Native American costume of brown and red.  The fifth woman is dressed in purple and a large hat, she sits above the couch with her back to the camera.  The Portland Rose Festival Parade is an annual event in which floats are made out of flowers and paraded down the streets of Portland.  According to donor processed on June 14, 1964.",
