    "bioghist": "May Okano Sakuma was born in Winslow, Washington on July 27, 1929 and she passed away July 14, 1992. She attended Franklin High School in Seattle, Washington and was later incarcerated in Minidoka concentration camp. After the war she received her nursing degree at Seattle University and worked for a few years at nearby Providence Hospital. May married Isaac Sakuma in 1956 and spent the remainder of her life raising a family in Skagit Valley, Washington where the Sakumas ran a successful berry farm.",
